Idol Fact
On my flight back from visiting my parents in South Carolina, I started chatting with the friendly but fidgety young man sitting next to me. As it turned out, he is a contestant in the American Idol show headed to the “Hollywood week.” I haven’t really watched since the first season, but now I will be curious to see if he gets onto the new season lineup. He seemed like he was too innocent to be headed to LA for the first time. As I cracked open my “Eat, Pray, Love” book, he pulled out a bible and started reading from Psalms. I lost track of him when we had to rush to our connecting flight. I hope he made it!
